Financially Supporting the Ministry of First Baptist Church through Online Giving
If you have already set up an online account, click on the image above to be linked to the giving site. To learn more about online giving, please carefully read the information below.
Why Should I Consider Online Giving?
- Convenience: You can give from anywhere at anytime that you’re online.
- Simplicity: Once your account is set up, it takes just a few clicks to make your donation.
- Privacy and Security: The gifts are completely private and more secure than a printed check.
- User-Friendliness: The system is easy to use, whether you're high-tech, low-tech or nearly no-tech.
- Options: You can give a one-time gift or a recurring monthly gift. You also have several giving options such as missions, the church budget or the building fund. In some cases, you will also have the opportunity to pay for camps, seminars, and special programs.
- Consistency: By setting up a recurring gift, you can send your tithes or offering on a regular basis. For many people who are committed to the Biblical command to tithe, online giving helps them keep their commitment.
- Uniformity: You already do a lot of your banking, bill-paying and shopping online to save time, paper and stamps. Online giving is just as easy and practical.
- Donor Control: You can change or cancel your recurring giving at anytime. You alone, not the church or the bank, have sole oversight of how much and how often you give.
How Does It Work?
- Begin by clicking on the Kingdom Processing Link at the bottom of this page. Once the linked page opens up, you will need to set up an online giving account. This will insure that you’re gifts are private, secure and properly transacted.
- Once you have set up your account, be sure to keep a record of your account information so that you can quickly and easily review your giving, make future gifts or change any recurring giving plan that you have set up.
- Once your account is set up you can give a single, one-time gift of any amount you choose and apportion it to the various ministry accounts any way you choose. For example, you could give $400 dollars and place $200 of it in the regular offering, $100 in the building fund and $100 in a special designated offering (missions, camp, etc.).
- You can also set up a regularly-occurring donation that will automatically withdraw an amount you choose from your bank account each month and direct it towards the ministries of your choice. You, not the church, will maintain complete control of this giving plan. You will be able to cancel or alter this plan any time you choose. This program is ideal for people who intend to tithe or give to the building program on a regular basis and enjoy the convenience of online giving. Remember, it's your responsibility to oversee your giving plan. The church has no control over how much or how often you give.
- Regardless of which giving method that you choose, the church will receive a confidential, accurate record of your giving for bookkeeping and tax purposes. All gifts will appear on your year-end contribution record just like gifts given in the weekly worship services.
Good Stewardship Reminder
The giving site will allow you to use credit cards to give because of their popularity and convenience. However, we strongly encourage you to use credit cards wisely. Please avoid the practice of using your credit cards to give if you can't repay the amount to your credit card company when you receive your next bill. While we greatly appreciate your generosity and support, we want you to practice sound, biblical financial stewardship.
