Five Questions for the People of God
Description

Sensible living refers to the world within.  (Proverbs 14:15)

  1. To live sensibly you must seek the instruction of the Lord. (Psalms 119)
  2. The sensible person values the reproof of the Lord.
  3. You apply yourself to the work of the Lord.

Righteous living refers to the life around us. (Phillipians 3)

Righteous living is right living.

  1. Righteous living is truthful and not deceitful.
  2. Righteous living is humble and not arrogant.
  3. Righteous living is kind and not harsh.
  4. Righteous living is respectful and not crude.
  5. Righteous living is gentle and not quick tempered.
  6. Righteous living is bold and not ashamed.

Righteous living is a moral mandate. (Romans 6:12 & 13)

Righteous living is a persistent pursuit. (Proverbs 24:16)

Righteous living is Godly.  Refers to the world  above. (Phillipians 1:21)

The worldly live for earthly pleasure, the Godly live for heavenly treasure.

The ungodly live for now, the Godly live for the world to come.

You can't do it if you don't live for Jesus.
