For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

God has given gifts to each believer for the good of the Church and the sake of the Gospel.  At Blanchard First we believe that God's Purpose for our faith community is to put aside our preferences for His Glory!  We do that each week by serving alongside one another in ministry.  This ranges from simply setting up a classroom to working on large scale ministry projects.  Our main desire is to see God's people engaged in the work of the Gospel for the glory of God.

Volunteer Ministries

Regional Food Bank

The second Tuesday of each month we distribute food to over a 75 families in our local community.  We believe that sharing with our community is a way we can show the Love of Jesus to those who need some help to make it through the month

Virtual Church

Every week we record and publish content online to help share the Good News to individuals all over the world.  We always have room for those who love to serve whether it is running a video camera or graphic design.  We have a place for you.

Serve in our church

Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.

Are you interested in doing something that will have an effect on eternity?  We know that God has given  unique gifts to individuals to help bring hope to people in our community, nation, and the world.  If God has given you a heart to affect the life of others for the sake of Christ we want to hear from you.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

The first thing that we ask anyone that is considering volunteering is to pray.  Ask God to lead you to the area that He indicates to you.  There are many places and many ways you can serve in the church and around the church.  Every contribution of time or effort makes a difference to the church as a whole.  We welcome all people with a heart to serve.

How do I volunteer with kids?

Our children's ministry is full of energy and life.  There are great opportunies each week to be a part of building the kingdom with some of our most precious gifts.  All volunteers are required to be members of the church for at least 6 months and complete the required training to take part in this ministry.  Contact Shelby Stringer for more information.

How do I volunteer with music?

Come sing or play with the worship team on Wednesday night at 6:30.  We currently meet on a weekly basis to prepare for our worship time every week.  If you have a talent in playing and instrument, singing, or technology,  we would love to have you join us.
Contact Jason Soward  for more information.

How do I volunteer with youth?

Student ministry is a great place to volunteer and full of activities.  If you care about students and their walk with Jesus this may be a great fit for you.  All volunteers must have a background check and complete the required training to take part in this ministry.  If you have questions about this ministry and their volunteer needs contact Nathan Crowson.
